“arkadash is the Turkish word for friend.  It’s a clue to how we want to do business, respecting the rights and needs of workers and farmers, using natural resources as carefully as we can, treating our suppliers and customers well, being friendly to the planet and the people around us.”

We're not perfect but we run the business as sustainably as we can, whether that's recycling our packaging for web orders or buying renewable electricity.  We try to choose our products carefully, to fulfil as many of our criteria of fair trade, organic, sustainable, recycled and sweatshop free, as possible.
