Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you. We adhere to the requirements of UK data protection legislation.

When you order, we need to know your name, address, email address and card details. This allows us to process and fulfil your order. You have the option to withhold personal information that is not required for the order process.

We use your personal information solely for payment and billing purposes.

We will only contact you if necessary, in relation to your order (for example if a product is out of stock) or regarding your payment (for example if you have selected UK postage for an overseas delivery).

If you sign up to our mailing list, we will send you messages about new suppliers, special offers, events or other news.  We may also ask you about your needs and preferences as a customer, so that we can improve our service.  You can unsubscribe at any time for any reason.

We will not sell, rent, exchange or share your personal information with any third party without your consent, beyond the essential requirement for credit/debit card validation during purchase.

We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access in accordance with the UK data protection legislation.

We do not collect sensitive information about you except when you specifically knowingly provide it. In order to maintain the accuracy of our database, you can check, update or remove your personal details by emailing us at hello@arkadash.co.uk.

We use a technology called "cookies" as part of a normal business procedure to track patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. A cookie is a tiny data file stored on your computer system, which identifies you to our website, from information you have already provided (for example by setting up an account with a log-in).

It is not in itself a threat to privacy, since it can only store information that the user has volunteered or that the web server already has.

If you prefer, you can set your browser to prevent this happening.

In order to process credit/debit card transactions, the bank or card processing agency may require to verify your personal details for authorisation outside the EEA (European Economic Area). Your information will not be transferred outside the EEA for any other purpose.

If you have any questions about privacy please contact us at hello@arkadash.co.uk.

If you live in and around Manchester, sign up to our text service to be notified of our events and offers.
