The story so far

Vik started arkadash in Leeds in 2004, taking ethical clothing round fairs and organic markets.  Over in Manchester, Chantelle started Kitnkabu in 2005, printing and customising organic cotton t-shirts. 

In February 2006 we pooled our resources and ideas to become arkadash ltd and opened our Chorlton shop (Charlie Chorlton Arkadash) in March 2006.  The Leeds shop (Boris Arkadash) opened in February 2007, but sadly, after an 18 month trial period, closed in July 2007.

Since then, we've continued with Charlie, the website and fairs and festivals. We did think about selling the business, we did discuss bringing some new business partners on board, but right now we're still the original team.
